Here's a court concept I made for the Houston Rockets of the NBA! (2028-29 season)

And here is its In-Season Tournament version:

HIDDEN EASTER EGG: Both courts

The logo on center court is a modified version of their 90s logo in a roundel like in the modern logo, using the colors in the Indiana flag. The ball in the alternate logo found along the key is in the colors of the ABA ball, alluding to the team's origins in the ABA.

HIDDEN EASTER EGG: The Non-In Season Tournament version

The Pacers logos are in a paint stroke with a 3D shadow effect "revealing" a checkerboard-inspired design in light and navy blue, alluding to the Indy 500 pacecars in Indiana where the team got their name.

HIDDEN EASTER EGG: Both courts

The court is basically a "true mixtape" much like what the Rockets had in the 2021-22 season, except this time with representation for every logo they had in Houston:

• A remake of their first logo from 1971 found in the key, although instead of reading NBA, the ball reads 60.

• The red part of the "ketchup-and-mustard" logo (1972) that has the word Houston serves as the circle around the ball in centercourt. The wordmark along the baseline is also lifted from this logo.

• The rocket-shark from the late 90s logo is around the jetpack man from the 1971 logo found in the key.

• The "Rockets" wordmark on centercourt is from their 2018 jerseys, so I think it counts for the '03 logo.

• The graphite ball in the 2019 logo replaces the yellow part of the 1972 logo.

HIDDEN EASTER EGG: The Non-In Season Tournament version

The pinstripes from the 1997 jerseys are in the background of the apron and the stars in the background against its navy blue background alludes to where the Rockets got their name: NASA (space)

HIDDEN EASTER EGG: Both courts

The Warriors logo colors are inverted and the circle of the logo serves as the circle in the sun derived from the Philippine flag, alluding to the Filipino people in the city of San Francisco

HIDDEN EASTER EGG: The Non-In Season Tournament version

The colors of the court is a modified version of the colors on the court of the Smart Araneta Coliseum (SAC), a large arena in Quezon City (Philippines) that hosted the 2023 FIBA World Cup. While the In-Season tournament court does bear the same colors, I put it under the Non-IST version because the court in the SAC is not a fully-painted one.

HIDDEN EASTER EGG: NONE

I couldn't bring myself to care about this court design. Not only is there nothing to spotlight for them anymore, but they're one of the worst teams in the NBA. No easter eggs here to talk about, then.

HIDDEN EASTER EGG: All Courts

The NBA and ABA basketballs are placed near the "Mile High Basketball" tag near the sideline.

Every Nuggets logo has representation in this design to some degree. The miner logo (ABA era) is the ABA ball, the Rainbow skyline logo is in the background of the "Since 1967" on centercourt, the Mountain in the 90s-2010s logos are also on centercourt (the colors are the 90s colors) and using the modern colors. The 5280 (derived from a much more recent jersey) is also there in the 2-point area, in powder blue. (2000s)

HIDDEN EASTER EGG: All Courts

Kinda not hidden, in fact it's all over the place. The 1980s Mavs logo is on center court, the bird in the 2-point area is the logo of the Dallas Chaparrals (the team in Dallas prior to the Mavericks, which later became the Spurs)

Here's a court concept I made for the Cleveland Cavaliers of the NBA! (2028-29 NBA Season)

And here is its In-Season Tournament version:

HIDDEN EASTER EGG: The Non-In Season Tournament version

The apron (outside the playing area) has the names of the three major league teams in the city of Cleveland (Browns, Guardians, Cavaliers) referencing the city's sports scene. The inside of the court also has the silhouette of the city skyline slightly sublimated into it, a la the court during their 2016 championship run, as well as a (barely visible) street map of the city sublimated into the paint.

HIDDEN EASTER EGG: All Courts

Kinda not hidden, in fact it's on the bottom sideline. Cleveland, this is for you is written there along with the shape of Ohio, referencing Lebron screaming that into the mic at a postgame interview after the 2016 NBA Finals Game 7 which they won.

The colors of the Cavs logos in the 2-point area are the colors of the two other Cleveland teams.

The paint has the designs of the WNBA, Super Bowl, MLB and NBA trophies representing the 41 championships (in total) won by the teams in Chicago.

HIDDEN EASTER EGG: All Courts

Kinda not hidden, in fact it's on centercourt. The Chicago wordmark in the center is the Chicago script from Michael Jordan's rookie season jerseys.

NEXT TEAM: Cleveland Cavaliers

The apron (outside the playing area) has the usual honeycomb pattern from the core court, but also the pinstripes from the 80s/90s Hornets jersets.

Kinda not hidden, in fact it's on centercourt. The custom anniversary logo concept has the 80s/90s vintage Hornets logo is there.

It's kinda not hidden, but the apron and painted area on the floor has the subway map of Brooklyn.

18 clovers along the baseline, with 10 in gold and one in black. Some of the clovers bear numbers referencing the number of seasons between each of their championships.
