The 1955–56 New York Knicks season was the tenth season for the team in the National Basketball Association (NBA). The Knicks tied third in the Eastern Division along with Syracuse Nationals with a 35–37 record and qualified for the playoffs, losing to the Nationals in a one-game playoff to reach the Eastern Division Semifinals.
