The 2021 WNBA season is the 25th season of the Women's National Basketball Association. The Seattle Storm are the defending champions. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, teams will play a 32-game season (rather than the 36 games agreed to in the 2020 offseason) that include mini two-game series to reduce travel. The season will run from May 14 to September 19, with a break from July 12 to August 11 for the Olympic Games.
