Adrian Delano Dantley, nicknamed "AD", is a retired American professional basketball player. Dantley played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for 15 seasons after playing for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, and being picked sixth overall by the Buffalo Braces (now the Los Angeles Clippers).
Dantley was a prolific scorer, being a two time NBA scoring champion as well as a 6 time All-Star and 2 time All-NBA player. He was an assistant coach on the Denver Nuggets in between 2003 and 2011.
