Alonzo Harding Mourning Jr. (born February 8, 1970) is an American basketball executive and retired player for the Miami Heat. He played in the NBA for 10 seasons, for the New Orleans Hornets (1992-1995), Miami Heat (1995-2001), New Jersey Nets (2003-2004) and then for the Heat again from (2005-2008). He was a member of the 2006 championship Miami Heat along with teamates Dwyane Wade, Shaquille O'Neal, Udonis Haslem, and Jason Williams. After being a Free Agent for a majority of 2008, Mourning officially retired.
