The American Rivers Conference, known for most of its history as the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, is a conference participating in the NCAA's Division III. It was founded in 1922 as the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Association, changed to the "Conference" designation in 1927, and adopted its current name in 2018.
