Ben Cameron Wallace (born September 10, 1974), nicknamed "Big Ben", is an American professional basketball executive and former professional player who is currently the basketball operations and team engagement advisor for the Detroit Pistons of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Wallace was undrafted, signing with the Washington Bullets on October 2, 1996. He was a member of the 2004 NBA Champions with the Pistons. He also played for the Orlando Magic, Chicago Bulls, and Cleveland Cavaliers. He is widely considered to be greatest undrafted NBA player and one of the best defensive players of all time, winning the Defensive Player of the Year Award four times, which is tied with Rudy Gobert for the most in NBA history.
