The Birmingham–Southern Panthers represented the now-defunct Birmingham–Southern College in NCAA Division III sports. Before its closure on May 31, 2024, Birmingham–Southern was a member of the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) from the conference's first season in 2012.

A member of the Division I Big South Conference from 2000 to 2007, they left D-I for the D-III Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference, completing the D-III transition in 2011. A year later, the Panthers were one of seven SCAC members that left that league to form the SAA.

Following decades of financial mismanagement, BSC closed on May 31, 2024.^[1]
