The Cairn Highlanders represent Cairn University, located in the Philadelphia suburb of Langhorne, Pennsylvania, in NCAA Division III sports. The Highlanders are members of the Colonial States Athletic Conference.
The school, the product of a 1951 merger between the Philadelphia School of the Bible and the Bible Institute of Pennsylvania, used even more names after the merger. The merged school began as Philadelphia Bible Institute and later became Philadelphia Biblical University, with sports teams known as Crimson Eagles. The school adopted its current name in 2012, changing its nickname to Highlanders at that time.
