The Clarks Summit Defenders represent Clarks Summit University, located in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, in NCAA Division III sports. The Defenders are currently members of the Colonial States Athletic Conference.
The school was founded in Johnson City, New York in 1932 as Baptist Bible College. Due to growth in the 1960s, the school moved to its current location in 1968. Its name changed to Baptist Bible College & Seminary in 1972, and to the current Clarks Summit University in 2016.
