Coppin State University, formerly Colored High School (changed to Douglass High School) (1900-1926), Fanny Jackson Coppin Normal School (1926-1938), Coppin Teachers College (1938-1950), Coppin State Teachers College (1950-1963), Coppin State College (1963-2004), is an historically black college located in Baltimore, Maryland.
