Dajuan Marquett Wagner is a retired American Point Guard. Wagner was drafted 6th overall in the 2002 NBA Draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers out of Memphis. Wagner played for the Cavaliers from 2002-2005, and one season with the Golden State Warriors.
Professional career[]
Wagner was drafted 6th overall in the 2002 NBA Draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers out of the University of Memphis. He played an average of 34 games/per season and averaged 7.96 points a game. In 2005 he was hospitalized with a inflammatory bowel disease and the Cavaliers did not excerise their option subsequently he was out of the League. After recovery he attempted a comeback, signing a two year $16 million contract with Golden State Warriors in September 2006. Wagner only played one game before the team bought out his contract two months and he once again became a free agent. On August 31, 2007 he signed a one year contract with the Polish team Prokom Trefl Sopot. He played six games before returning to New Jersey after reoccurring hip and knee injuries.
