FIBA (a French-language acronym for Fédération internationale de basket-ball; originally Fédération internationale de basket-ball amateur), also known as the International Basketball Federation, Federation of International Basketball or Federation of International Basketball Associations, is a international governing basketball organization located in Geneva, Switzerland.
It holds world championships in men's and women's full-court basketball every four years, plus annual championships for both men and women in half-court three-on-three basketball (branded as "3x3").
