FIBA Oceania Championship was the name commonly used to refer to the Oceania basketball championships that took every two years between men's national teams of the region from 1971 to 2015. The Oceania Championships were also a qualifying tournament for the FIBA World Cup and Olympic Games.

When only Australia and New Zealand competed, the tournament was usually a best-of-three playoff; if other teams competed, a round-robin and a knockout stage were employed. In 2009, the Oceania Basketball Federation changed this format to a two-game, home-and-away playoff between the two countries, with aggregate score as the tiebreaker should the teams split the series.

The 2015 edition was the last for the FIBA Oceania championships for both men and women. Men's national teams now compete alongside FIBA Asia members in the FIBA Asia Cup. Similarly, women's national teams now compete in the FIBA Women's Asia Cup.
