Beginning in 2009, the Missouri Valley-Mountain West Challenge Series (also known as MVC-MWC Challenge Series) is an in-season NCAA college basketball series, matching up teams from the Missouri Valley Conference and the Mountain West Conference. The two conferences have agreed to a four year deal, extending the challenge through at least 2012.[1]
The MVC-MWC Challenge Series will occur from late November through December. The games will be hosted by each of the schools. Nine games will be played, leaving one team from the 10-team Missouri Valley Conference without an opponent.
