Gregory Ballard (January 29, 1955 – November 9, 2016) was an American professional basketball player and NBA assistant coach. He played for the Washington Bullets, Golden State Warriors and Seattle SuperSonics.

Ballard was selected by the Washington Bullets with the 4th overall pick in the 1st round of the 1977 NBA Draft. In his first season he won an NBA championship with the Bullets, defeating the Seattle SuperSonics in a 4-3 victory.
