Isaiah Austin is an American professional basketball player and coach who played College basketball for the Baylor Bears (2012-2014). Austin entered for the 2014 NBA Draft, but during draft week, he discovered he was diagnosed with Marfan syndrome. Austin had to withdraw from the draft due to his condition. However, on draft night, Commissioner Adam Silver made Austin an honorary selection of the draft. He was selected between the 15th and 16th pick, because scouts predicted that would be where Isaiah would be selected at.
