Jarred Jakobi Vanderbilt (born April 3, 1999) is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
He was selected as a McDonald's All-American in high school. Vanderbilt played college basketball for the Kentucky Wildcats. He was selected by the Orlando Magic in the second round of the 2018 NBA draft, where he was subsequently traded to the Denver Nuggets. Vanderbilt is known for his great vertical jumping ability and his hustle.
