Luguentz “Lu” Dort (born April 19, 1999) is a Canadian professional basketball player for the Oklahoma City Thunder of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Arizona State Sun Devils. He completed his high school career at the Athlete Institute in Mono, Ontario, where he was rated as high as a five-star recruit and was one of the top high school players in Canada. In his first year with Arizona State, he earned second-team All-Pac-12 Conference honors and was named to the all-defensive team in the Pac-12. He was also voted the conference’s freshman of the year. He is known for his tight defense on opposing star players, most notably against James Harden during the 2020 NBA Playoffs and against Luka Dončić during the 2024 NBA Playoffs.
