The Lynchburg Hornets represent the University of Lynchburg (previously Lynchburg College), an NCAA Division III institution in Lynchburg, Virginia. The Hornets have been members of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference since the conference's formation in 1975 (with conference play starting in 1976).
