Matthew John Carroll (born August 28, 1980, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) is a retired American basketball player. He used to play for the Charlotte Bobcats, and San Antonio Spurs. He played for the Notre Dame fighting Irish in college. His High school was Hatboro- Horsham high school in Pennsylvania. Once Matt led the league in free-throw percentage.
He's now the Community Ambassador of the Charlotte Hornets.
