The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (known as the MEAC) is a conference participating in NCAA Division I. All full members are historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs)—institutions founded specifically to educate African Americans before the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

Founded in 1970, the MEAC includes institutions in Delaware, Florida, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Washington, D.C.
