NBA 2K14 is a basketball video game that was developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports. It is the fifteenth installment of the NBA 2K series. It was released on October 1, 2013 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360; versions for the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One were also released on the consoles' respective launch dates. LeBron James of the Miami Heat became the cover athlete. It is the successor of NBA 2K13.

Development[]

The game marks the first time EuroLeague teams have appeared in the NBA 2K series and also the U.S. national basketball team found in 2K13, beginning with Live 08 and ending with Live 10.

On July 26, 2013, the NBA 2K Live team announced the soundtrack to NBA 2K14, chosen by LeBron James. 2K14's soundtrack features a much more present type of music, showing off new popular hits instead of older, classic songs featured in previous 2K versions.
