NBA 2K16 is a basketball video game that was developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports. It is the seventeenth installment of the NBA 2K series. It was released on September 29, 2015 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and the Xbox One. Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors became the cover athlete. A special edition version of the game was also released; it features Michael Jordan on the cover. It is the successor of NBA 2K15.
