Patrick Bergin Connaughton (born January 6, 1993) is an American professional basketball player for the Charlotte Hornets of the National Basketball Association (NBA), where he primarily plays as a Shooting Guard.
Connaughton previously played for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish baseball and men's basketball teams. He was selected by the Baltimore Orioles in the fourth round of the 2014 MLB Draft. The Brooklyn Nets selected him in the second round of the 2015 NBA Draft and traded him to the Portland Trail Blazers. In 2021, during his sixth season in the NBA, he won his first championship as a reserve player for the Milwaukee Bucks.
