The South Bay Lakers is an American Minor league professional basketball team based in Los Angeles, California that compete in the NBA G League, the team is owned by the NBA's Los Angeles Lakers and play their home games at the UCLA Health Training Center. The team was founded in 2006 as the Los Angeles D-Fenders as part of the G League's expansion.
