|School Name:||University of Texas, Pan American|
|Conference:||WAC (as UTRGV Vaqueros)|
The Texas–Pan American Broncs (also UTPA Broncs) were sports teams of the University of Texas–Pan American. The Broncs last competed under that identity in NCAA Division I in the 2014–15 school year as members of the Western Athletic Conference (WAC).
In 2013, the Texas legislature passed, and the state's governor signed into law, a bill that created the new University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV). The new institution merged UTPA and the University of Texas at Brownsville, which operated an NAIA athletic program. Once UTRGV began operation in the 2015–16 school year, the UTPA athletic program was transferred to UTRGV, maintaining UTPA's memberships in Division I and the WAC. The program continues to compete as the UTRGV Vaqueros.
