The Thomas & Mack Center is an indoor sports complex located on the University Nevada-Los Vegas (or UNLV) campus in Las Vegas, Nevada. It hosted the 2007 NBA All-Star Game on February 18, 2007.
History[]
Named after Nevada Bankers Perry Thomas and Jerome Mack, the arena was built for for UNLV's Basketball team. It opened in 1983, and held events such as Wrestling: No Way Out 2001 and WWE Vengance in 2005, Martial Arts, Hockey Finals and Boxing and the anually Rodeo Finals. It was the former home to Arena Football Team Los Vegas Gladiators. In 2005 and 2006 it hosted the Arena Bowl and the 2007 NBA All-Star Game on February 18, 2007. The first time an All-star game was held in a non NBA arena.
