Thomas More University is a private Roman Catholic university in the Cincinnati suburb of Crestview Hills, Kentucky. It serves about 2,200 full and part-time students. The university was founded in 1921 by the local Benedictine Sisters as Villa Madonna College.
Thomas More University is home to the Thomas More Saints. They currently compete in the NAIA Mid-South Conference, but started a transition to NCAA Division II in 2022. TMU joined the Great Midwest Athletic Conference for administrative purposes that July, but will not start D-II competition until the 2023–24 school year.
The Saints won the NAIA National Championship in 1957 and recorded the first upset in NAIA Tournament history, defeating West Virginia Tech 93-91.
