Quinton Ross (born April 30 1981) is a professional basketball player currently with the Los Angeles Clippers in the NBA.

He went undrafted following a college career at Southern Methodist University, and signed with the Clippers on August 16, 2004.

While only a decent offensive player, Ross is most notable for his strong perimeter defense. Some fans believe that the Clippers would be doing better during the 2005-2006 season if Ross had not missed so many games due to recurring back problems. The Clippers have lost numerous games because of opponents' 3-point scoring which fans believe Ross could have held to a minimum.

  • On May 18, 2006, Ross scored a career high 18 points against the Phoenix Suns in game 6 of the Western Conference semifinals.

In a preview of the 2006 NBA Playoffs, ESPN.com Page 2 columnist Bill Simmons referred to Ross as "the next Bruce Bowen". (http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=simmons/060421)
